Awards

2010Volunteer Service Award – Kingston Historical Society – 15 years – for stories and artwork about history of The Local Scene.
2010Certificate of Recognition  from University Hospitals Kingston Foundation for Foundation support.
2007Honoured by being made an Ambassador of the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
2005Ontario Volunteer Service Award –  Kingston Historical Society – 10 years. A regular newsletter contributor of stories and artwork about The Local Scene.
1997Rotary Club of Kingston – Paul Harris Award for raising monies for good causes at her art shows and preserving history on canvas.
1993Kingston Historical Society’s Centennial Award, in recognition of her valued contributions through her paintings and historical activities to Kingston and District historical knowledge, preservation and prestige.
1990First Prize – Archie Green Award for Special Public Relations, awarded to Kingston Monuments for her “Tribute to Cataraqui Art Show.  It won against 1,025 entries at the Monument Builders of North America Conference in Boston.
1981Second Prize – U.S Air Force Designer Craftsman Contest Kaiserslalutern, Germany.
1980First Prize. U.S. All Army Art Contest Kaiserslautern, Germany.
1979First and Second Prize in the USAFE Art Contest (Fine Art Division), Ramstein Germany.
1979These works were sent to Torrejon Air Base, Spain to compete in the USAFE World Contest. Results: 2nd Prize & honourable mention.
